Modern Oasis Opens: Shuwaikh Beach Revamped for Sports, Serenity, and Fun
Kuwait Municipality is set to unveil the fully redeveloped Shuwaikh Beach this Wednesday, October 1. The 1.7-kilometer stretch, revitalized through a KWD 3 million project funded by the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), is now a stunning, modern, and eco-friendly waterfront destination.
Designed with environment, health, and entertainment in mind, the new beach offers visitors four unique experiences: a sports and recreation area complete with fields and green spaces; a classic sandy beach for sunbathers; a serene garden perfect for relaxation under the trees; and an interactive zone featuring a giant checkers game. The comprehensive upgrade also includes a restored mosque, restrooms, and initial kiosks.
The municipality’s vision doesn’t stop here, with plans for additional kiosks, ATMs, and ITMs to complete this modern community hub.
