4th, Oct, 2025: The Ministry of Interior (MOI), through the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has successfully busted a major human trafficking and visa scam operating out of a domestic worker recruitment office in Fahaheel.
The Raid and Arrests
The operation, led by the Residence Affairs Investigations Department in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) and authorized by the Public Prosecution, resulted in the arrest of the office managers.
Security teams discovered and rescued 29 Asian female workers who were being held captive inside the premises. The workers reported being subjected to forced labor, confinement, and mistreatment.
