
Kuwait Municipality Intensifies Clean-Up: 42 Abandoned Cars Removed in Jleeb and Shuwaikh
9th, Oct, 2025: The Kuwait Municipality’s inspection teams are continuing their extensive campaigns across all governorates to combat violations of public cleanliness and road occupation regulations.
In Farwaniya, the campaign targeted Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, resulting in the removal of 10 abandoned cars. The area’s main and internal streets were also thoroughly cleaned by a team of 150 workers and 25 machines to improve its appearance.
Meanwhile, in the Capital Governorate, clean-up efforts in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area saw the removal of a significant 32 abandoned and scrap vehicles. Inspectors also issued 43 warnings to violators.
Faisal Al-Otaibi, Director of Public Cleanliness in the Capital Governorate, emphasized that these field tours will continue, and legal action will be taken against all violators.
