
18, Oct, 2025: The General Directorate of Rescue Police successfully concluded a wide-ranging mobile security and traffic campaign across the Capital Governorate on Thursday, resulting in 519 various traffic violations.
The operation, which utilized mobile patrols instead of fixed checkpoints, focused on upholding road safety. Beyond the numerous citations, the campaign led to several key arrests and seizures:
- Arrests: 2 wanted persons, 2 for absenteeism, 2 in drug-related cases, and 3 for residency and labor law violations.
- Vehicles: 8 wanted vehicles were seized, and 21 violating vehicles were impounded.
The Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining order, stating that these intensive, mobile campaigns will continue around the clock in all governorates.
