18, Oct, 2025: The new “Kuwait Visa” platform is a massive success, having issued 235,000 visit visas across all six governorates since its launch last July.
Immigration departments are now approving approximately 6,000 visit visas daily, a rapid pace driven by the new, relaxed policy: visit visas are now available to all nationalities with no prior restrictions.
These new measures aim to significantly boost tourism and support the local economy, facilitating easy access for tourist, business, and family visitors. Importantly, the salary requirement for family visits and the national carrier condition have been waived.
A stern warning was issued against using these visas for illegal employment. Any visitor caught working, along with their sponsor, will face deportation and a re-entry ban.
