15, Nov, 2025: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced today the successful dismantling of two illegal operations within the Farwaniya area: an unlicensed medical clinic operating out of a private residence, and a related network trafficking stolen, government-issued medicines.
In the first case, security investigations revealed the residence had been converted into an illegal clinic, leading to the arrest of four Asian nationals. This included one suspect performing medical practices without the required license, alongside three individuals who were seeking treatment at the rogue facility.
The second operation targeted a network involved in the illicit sale and delivery of government drugs for cash. This resulted in the arrest of three more Asian nationals, who were found delivering medications outside of the authorized supply chain. Further inquiries established a critical link: an eighth suspect, an Asian resident employed at a government health center, had exploited their position to steal the drugs and supply them to the accused traffickers.
The MoI confirmed that it has taken all necessary legal action against the total of eight suspects. They are also coordinating closely with the Ministry of Health’s Drug Control Department to fully secure and document the seized pharmaceuticals. The Ministry stressed its dedication to combating illegal practices that endanger public health and urged citizens to report any suspicious activities immediately.
