Kuwait: Acting Director of the Meteorological Department, Darrar Al-Ali, has issued a forecast for continued unstable weather through Sunday afternoon. The atmospheric disturbance, which began Saturday evening, is driven by a passing cold front and a surface low-pressure system. Residents can expect scattered rainfall—varying from light to heavy—along with occasional thunderstorms, particularly in coastal regions.
According to Al-Ali’s statement to KUNA, active southeasterly winds are transitioning to northwesterly, with gusts potentially exceeding 60 km/h. These strong winds may trigger dust storms, reducing visibility, while sea conditions remain hazardous with waves reaching heights over seven feet. A gradual improvement is anticipated later today, with temperatures hovering between a low of 12°C and a high of 22°C.
