As part of a coordinated effort to enforce residency and labor laws, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior carried out 20 inspection operations between December 1 and 5, 2024, resulting in the arrest of 317 violators. During the same period, 610 individuals found to be in breach of residency regulations were deported.
This crackdown, overseen by His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, underscores the ongoing commitment to rigorous security measures across all governorates. The Ministry reaffirmed its dedication to pursuing violators and holding both workers and employers accountable for any violations of residency laws. Ongoing security campaigns will continue in various regions to ensure strict adherence to the law.
