In light of Bashar Al-Assad’s downfall and the ongoing developments in Syria, the Ministry of Interior has announced that it will take strict action against any expatriate involved in marches or gatherings, regardless of their nature, that may lead to traffic disruptions, moral violations, or public disturbances. The ministry stressed that such violations could lead to administrative deportation. It also urged the public to cooperate with security services and expressed confidence in their dedication to maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of society.
In addition, the Ministry of Interior has dismissed rumors circulating about the suspension of citizenship withdrawal under Article 8 of the Nationality Law. These rumors, which spread on social media, claimed that the withdrawal of citizenship from the wives of Kuwaiti citizens had been halted. The ministry called on the public to verify the truth of such claims and emphasized the importance of relying on official sources for accurate information before sharing any news.
