Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant
Location: Al Rai, Kuwait

A General Trading Company specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Oil Field Accessories is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting policies.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend efficient accounting practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus).
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or industrial sectors.
• Language: Fluency in English is required; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
