Sep. 22, 2025: Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser is calling for a major push to stop bachelor housing in residential neighborhoods. He emphasized that municipal services need to be improved to keep up with urban growth and meet international standards.
The governor’s directive came during a Sunday meeting with key municipal officials, including Deputy Director General Eng. Nawaf Al-Kandari. The group discussed how to better coordinate with government agencies to solve problems and improve services throughout the governorate.
