Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) warned the public on Tuesday against engaging with fraudulent messages or unknown websites claiming to offer discounts on traffic violations.
In a press release, the ministry emphasized that traffic violation payments should only be made through official channels, such as “Sahel,” the unified government application.
It clarified that the ministry does not send SMS messages from international numbers or offer any “discounts” on traffic violations.
The ministry urged everyone to verify the identity of message senders and immediately report any fraudulent messages through the “Aman” security service on “Sahel”.
