Dr. Issam Al-Rubaian, head of the Civil Service Commission, announced the nomination of 1,600 citizens for jobs on Thursday. This brings the total number of job candidates nominated this month to 8,500, marking a record for the central employment system in a single month.
In an exclusive statement to Al-Anba, Dr. Al-Rubaian mentioned that the latest nominees come from various fields including education, political science, and others.
“These nominations cover all registration periods up to the 86th period,” Dr. Al-Rubaian explained. “They also include engineering specializations such as industrial, chemical, and petroleum engineering, as well as candidates with bachelor’s and diploma degrees who had previously declined nomination offers in anticipation of new opportunities.”
Regarding the 1,210 engineers awaiting nomination in chemical, industrial, and petroleum fields, Dr. Al-Rubaian stated that the number of engineers nominated will depend on the needs expressed by ministries within the next 10 days, following the receipt of requirements from the Ministry of Health. He expressed confidence that there will be enough needs to accommodate all engineers on the waiting list.
Dr. Al-Rubaian noted that the postponement of nominations for certain specializations aimed to align with the needs of various entities once their requirements were finalized.
He concluded by mentioning that the new requirements submitted to ministries also include engineers specializing in environmental safety, projects, and contracts. The nomination process will also include assistant engineers with diplomas, ensuring a comprehensive approach to meeting employment needs across different sectors.
