CSC to terminate contracts for expatriate consultants aged 60 and above

The Council of Ministers, through the Civil Service Commission, has decided not to renew the contracts of expatriate consultants aged 60 and above in state institutions, according to Al-Qabas daily, citing a government source. The source indicated that these consultants’ final working day in government agencies will be March 31, 2025.

The source also noted that no exceptions will be made regarding pensions or bonuses, which are currently suspended. However, meetings are planned to discuss potential new mechanisms and amendments related to exceptional pensions, with approval contingent upon coordination with the relevant authorities.
