A Gulf national, born in 1983, reported the theft of an iPad Pro from his home’s diwaniya at the Al-Dhaher police station. He did not identify any suspects, and a misdemeanor case was filed.

In a separate incident, police in Ahmadi arrested an expatriate caught attempting to steal state property. According to a security source, the expatriate was discovered while trying to steal cables from a transformer. A citizen had alerted the operations center about the suspicious behavior, and it was later found that the thief was in violation of residency laws.
