Farwaniya security personnel, led by Undersecretary Hamad Al-Munaifi and Security Director Brigadier Saleh Aqla, successfully apprehended an expatriate in possession of $21,000 in counterfeit currency. According to a security source, the arrest occurred in the Farwaniya area as the expatriate was preparing to exchange the fake dollars. Further investigation led authorities to his residence in the Jleeb area, where they discovered additional counterfeit money, along with tools and materials used for forgery. The suspect has now been referred to the counterfeiting investigations unit.
