According to projections made by Kuwait’s Director General of Civil Aviation, Kuwait International Airport is expected to see a busy summer season with 5.57 million passengers expected to pass through its terminals. It is anticipated that during this peak period of passenger flow, which runs from early June to mid-September, 42,117 flights will be arriving and departing.
This prediction was given in a statement by Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Acting Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport, and Aviation Security, which was made public via the government’s official channel on “X.” Al-Rajhi highlighted the wide range of seasonal destinations that are accessible this summer, mentioning among the planned routes Malacca, Trabzon, Sarajevo, Bodrum, Nice, Sharm El-Sheikh, Vienna, Salalah, Antalya, and Krakow in Poland.
Al-Rajhi also listed the top five travel destinations—Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha—that are anticipated to see a lot of traffic. Al-Rajhi emphasized the readiness of the General Administration of Civil Aviation personnel and reassured passengers of their dedication to providing first-rate support and services during their journey.
