Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Defense and Interior Minister, and Chairman of the Public Authority for Manpower, led the first meeting of 2024/2025. The Ministry of Interior announced that the meeting approved the final accounts for the Public Authority for Manpower for the fiscal year 2023/2024. The meeting aimed to enhance policies for various sectors and achieve workforce balance. The Public Authority for Manpower was instructed to draft a plan to temporarily lift the ban on transferring domestic workers (Visa 20) to the private sector (Visa 18) for two months, with conditions to ensure a balanced labor market.- KUNA
