Kuwait’s skies were illuminated by a stunning crimson glow this Wednesday evening as the giant blood moon made its striking appearance. This followed a partial lunar eclipse earlier in the day, starting at 3:14 a.m. and peaking at 4:55 a.m.
At 6:19 p.m., the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) captured this remarkable celestial event. The moon appeared 14% larger than usual due to its close proximity to Earth. This phenomenon, called a supermoon, causes the moon to look both bigger and brighter.
