The Ministry of Interior has finalized its comprehensive security plan for the new academic year under the slogan ‘Academic Year Without Traffic Congestion,’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry aims to ensure that the school year proceeds without traffic jams and has urged parents to use public transport buses to help reduce traffic congestion. It has also asked parents to cooperate with security personnel during the arrival and departure of students.

The Director of the Traffic Awareness Department at the Ministry has advised parents not to drop off their children directly in front of school entrances, as this can block the road and cause traffic jams. The department is fully prepared with enough patrols stationed at the entrances and exits of roads and near schools to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic. Officials also mentioned that during periods of high vehicle density at intersections, traffic signals will be manually controlled by the department to improve traffic movement.
