Pakistan Removes Visa Requirement for Kuwaitis and All GCC Nationals

The Embassy of Pakistan in Kuwait has announced that its government has lifted the visa requirement for citizens of Kuwait and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries traveling to Pakistan.

In a press statement issued yesterday, the embassy explained that, under Pakistan’s revised visa policy, citizens of GCC countries—namely Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain—no longer need to obtain an electronic travel permit or visa through the Pakistani e-Visa system for business or tourism.

GCC citizens can now visit Pakistan for up to 90 days for business or tourism purposes simply by purchasing an air ticket. The embassy noted that this policy change aims to simplify travel processes for GCC nationals and promote business and tourism between the regions.
