As part of the ongoing efforts by the Public Security Sector to enforce security measures and apprehend violators, recent activities by security directorates across the country have yielded significant results. Authorities arrested several visa violators, responded to 2,771 reports, and set up 565 checkpoints.
These actions resulted in 12,219 traffic violations being issued, 404 people being arrested—including 192 for residency law violations—and 41 vehicles being seized. Additionally, 947 instances of assistance were provided, 1,152 traffic accidents were managed, and 114 individuals were arrested for possession of narcotic substances, psychotropic drugs, and alcohol.
