The Ministry of Interior has urged Kuwaitis to complete their biometric fingerprint registration by the September 30th deadline. Failure to do so will lead to the suspension of civil ID cards and restrict access to government and banking services.
Starting October 1st, fingerprinting services in shopping malls will cease, and individuals will need to visit specific biometric centers within the Identity Investigation Departments of the General Department of Criminal Evidence. These centers will be open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The Ministry also stressed that citizens must make an appointment through the “Sahel” application before visiting these designated centers to complete the biometric process.
