The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has started accepting requests from domestic workers to transfer their residencies from Article 20 to Article 18. This decision allows domestic workers to switch to private sector work residency for two months starting from July 14.

The transfer requires three conditions: the employer’s personal attendance, approval from the Ministry of Interior’s General Department for Residency Affairs verifying the sponsor’s consent, and proof that the applicant has stayed in Kuwait for at least one year.
