The Ministry of Interior has highlighted the critical need for all citizens and residents to complete their biometric fingerprint registration by the specified deadlines. Citizens are required to complete their registration by September 30, while expatriates have until December 31.
Major Shaheen Al-Gharib of the Ministry’s Security Media Department informed Al-Akhbar Channel that those who fail to comply with the fingerprint requirement will face suspension of their transactions with the Ministry of Interior and other government agencies. Major Al-Gharib added that biometric fingerprint centers are available in all governorates and complexes. Currently, over 2.5 million individuals, including citizens, residents, and Gulf nationals, have completed their registration.
