Kuwait: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has introduced a new mechanism to notify private sector employees of salary deductions directly through the Sahl app. This initiative, reported by Al-Rai newspaper, aims to ensure companies deposit full salaries on time while monitoring any unauthorized shortages.
The electronic system now automatically detects payment discrepancies. When a shortage is identified, the company’s file is immediately suspended until the issue is clarified. Simultaneously, the affected employee receives a Sahl notification detailing the exact amount and reason for the deduction. These measures, along with automated alerts for worker absences, are part of PAM’s ongoing commitment to transparency and labor rights protection.
