On Friday, December 13, the Ministry of Interior conducted a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Salmiya area, overseen by His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior. The campaign involved active collaboration between the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector.
Key outcomes of the operation included:
- Issuance of 2,736 traffic violations.
- Arrest of seven individuals wanted for absences.
- Detention of two individuals without identification and one individual without a driver’s license.
- Apprehension of ten individuals with outstanding arrest warrants.
- Arrest of eleven individuals for residency and labor law violations.
Additionally, the following actions were taken:
- Seizure of 28 vehicles due to legal infractions.
- Confiscation of five motorcycles for legal violations.
- Impoundment of ten vehicles and motorcycles for various offenses.
The Ministry of Interior emphasized that such campaigns are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance security, enforce the law, and maintain public order, contributing to a safe and stable environment throughout the country.
