September 21, 2025: The Al-Ajairi Scientific Center announced that on Sunday, September 21, 2025, the planet Saturn will be highly visible. This is because it will be in opposition, a position where it’s directly opposite the sun from Earth. This alignment will allow stargazers to see Saturn clearly all night, from sunset to sunrise.
The center also clarified that Monday, September 22, will be the final day of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 AH, with the new month of Rabi’ al-Thani beginning on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The new crescent moon won’t be visible on Sunday evening since it won’t be born until 10:55 PM Kuwait time, after sunset.
