Kuwait to Swap Fog for Showers as Low-Pressure System Moves In.
15, Nov, 2025: The Meteorological Center confirms that Kuwait will transition from dense fog to widespread rainy weather starting early Saturday. A report released Friday indicated a significant surge in humidity levels, particularly along coastal areas, beginning Friday night and continuing into Saturday morning. Acting Director Dherar Al-Ali informed KUNA that fluctuating southeasterly winds and increasing moisture near the sea are contributing factors to the fog, which may reduce horizontal visibility to just over 1,000 meters in certain regions.
Early Saturday will see a low-pressure system arriving from the west, leading to a gradual thickening of clouds and scattered rainfall. These wet conditions are expected to persist until Monday afternoon, after which the cloud cover will slowly break up. Residents are urged to monitor all weather alerts, especially when driving during reduced visibility and heavy rain.
