Thursday 18 Sep. 2025: Teams from the Kuwait Municipality’s Mubarak Al-Kabeer branch recently completed a large-scale campaign, removing 31 abandoned vehicles, scrap, boats, and heavy equipment that violated municipal laws.
The campaign also led to the issuance of 20 violations for cleanliness and road obstructions. In addition, inspectors placed 79 removal notices on other abandoned vehicles and illegal commercial containers and replaced 27 old containers with new ones.
The Municipality’s Public Relations Department stated that inspection tours will continue across all governorates. This effort aims to step up monitoring, enforce laws on hygiene and road obstructions, and strengthen the role of regulatory bodies. The department explained that these inspections, which cover residential areas, are meant to improve public cleanliness, remove visual clutter, and prevent the dumping of waste outside of designated containers.
