
Kuwait recorded its coldest temperatures in 60 years on Tuesday, according to meteorologist Issa Ramadan. The official temperature in the Mataraba and Salmi areas was -1°C, with a perceived temperature of -8°C in Mataraba and -6°C in Salmi.
In Kuwait City, the perceived temperature was 0°C, while the official temperature was 8°C. Ramadan added that, based on climate data from the Meteorology Department, this is one of the coldest February days Kuwait has experienced in the past 60 years, particularly in desert areas.
