Job Overview:

We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector (Workshop) to ensure quality control and compliance in the fabrication of steel components and materials. The ideal candidate will conduct inspections, perform testing, and maintain quality records to meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated steel components, raw materials, and consumables.
✔ Oversee the inspection, testing, and approval of received materials and fabricated components.
✔ Implement inspection hold points at various production stages.
✔ Perform non-destructive and destructive testing to verify structural integrity.
✔ Document and report non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are taken.
✔ Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
✔ Provide recommendations for process improvements.
✔ Assist the Senior QA/QC Engineer in enhancing the quality management system.
✔ Participate in training and skill development programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

🎓 Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
📅 Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in QA/QC within steel fabrication or manufacturing.

Preferred Certifications:

✅ CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
✅ ASNT Level II (UT, RT, MT, PT)

Required Skills:

✔ Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and quality standards.
✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
✔ Experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
✔ Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
✔ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
