Syrian, Egyptian, and Asian Nationals Detained for Residency Trafficking

The General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations, through its Search and Investigation Department, has apprehended a gang composed of individuals from Syrian, Egyptian, and Asian nationalities involved in the trade of residency permits, forgery of official documents, and facilitating residency acquisition for a fee.

In a press release, the Ministry of Interior stated that the suspects had transferred workers’ residency permits to a specific company. Following thorough search and investigation efforts, it was revealed that the company charged between 700 and 1,000 Kuwaiti dinars per worker for bringing them into the country.

All necessary legal actions have been initiated against the suspects and the company owner, and the case has been referred to the appropriate authorities for further action.
