The Ministry of Interior has made another significant achievement, as the General Department for Combating Drugs successfully arrested two Kuwaiti citizens—one being an officer from the Ministry—along with four individuals of Asian nationality, all involved in the distribution of a large quantity of imported liquor bottles.

Following a thorough investigation, authorities seized around 3,000 bottles of imported alcohol, a piece of hashish, and cash in both Kuwaiti dinars and US dollars. The total estimated market value of the confiscated items is approximately 200,000 Kuwaiti dinars.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its commitment to enforcing the law, stating that no one is above it and that enforcement will be consistent and without exception. Authorities continue to pursue those attempting to undermine the stability of the country.

The accused individuals and the seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
