Ministry of Interior initiates a thorough security operation in Jahra

Resulting in the arrest of 2,089 traffic violators and 14 individuals for labor law violations.

In an ongoing effort to address legal violations, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has launched a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in Jahra Governorate. This operation, overseen by His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, aims to apprehend violators, criminals, and those breaching residency laws.

Various sectors participated in the campaign, including the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, the Public Security Sector, the General Department of Special Security Forces, and the Women’s Police.

The operation led to significant enforcement actions, resulting in 2,089 traffic violations. Authorities arrested 9 individuals without identification, detained 14 violators of residency and labor laws, and identified 19 wanted vehicles. Additionally, 9 individuals were sought for absenteeism, and 12 individuals with outstanding arrest warrants were taken into custody. The campaign also resulted in the seizure of a vehicle, the arrest of 6 drug offenders, and the detainment of 4 individuals exhibiting unusual behavior. One wanted individual was referred to the Criminal Enforcement Department, and 4 minors were sent to Juvenile Investigations.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and maintain order throughout the country, reaffirming its commitment to apprehending violators and ensuring public safety.
