Presence of insects and hygiene issues resulted in 32 violations at food facilities

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition conducted an inspection of food establishments on Friday, resulting in 32 violation reports. The inspection uncovered various types of insects in several locations.

Among the violations noted were non-compliance with general hygiene standards, improper food handling without following technical and health guidelines, and workers handling food without valid health certificates from the relevant authorities. Other violations included employers permitting workers to handle food without the necessary health certifications, unauthorized use of areas beyond the licensed space, and operating a food facility without obtaining a health license from the Authority.

These inspections are part of ongoing efforts to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.
