The General Traffic Department (GTD) of the Ministry of Interior reported that its patrols handled 1,620 traffic accidents from March 23 to 29. Among them were 293 serious collisions resulting in injuries and fatalities, along with 1,409 minor accidents with no injuries. During this period, 21,858 citations were issued for different violations, and 23 juveniles were arrested for driving without a license and referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.

Additionally, 48 individuals were detained for serious traffic offenses, and 130 vehicles along with 25 motorcycles were impounded. Eight individuals wanted by law, eight street vendors, one person in an abnormal condition, and three individuals involved in civil cases were also apprehended. A total of 51 vehicles were impounded for being involved in various crimes.
