Kuwait commemorates its 63rd National Day and its 33rd Liberation Day.

Amir congratulates citizens and residents on the 63rd National Day and the 33rd Liberation Day, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah congratulated the people of Kuwait, expressing gratitude for their happiness on these two occasions that symbolized their devotion to Kuwait. In addition to the extensive media coverage, His Highness praised the tremendous efforts made by the security authorities in the Ministries of Interior and Defense and the National Guard, as well as the effective participation made by other official bodies in the preparation of the national celebrations, such as the Kuwait Municipality, the Permanent Committee for Celebrating National Holidays, the Ministries of Information, Health, Education, and Higher Education, and the General Fire Force.

His Highness urged people to be grateful for Kuwait’s blessing of freedom from oppression, proudly recalling the brave warriors who lost their lives to protect this priceless nation. In addition, His Highness expressed gratitude and respect to his brothers, the leaders of the Gulf and Arab nations, for their sharing in the festivities of Kuwait’s national holidays, signifying the close ties that bind them to Kuwait. In addition to thanking them for their kind words, His Highness prayed to Allah Almighty to protect their beloved country and ensure its continued prosperity, security, and safety.

On the national days, His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received warm congratulations from Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Minister Al-Mutairi prayed for the souls of the martyrs as well as for long-term security, safety, and prosperity for “our dear homeland” after congratulating him on his X account.

Additionally, on the occasion of National Day, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Prime Minister, and the devoted Kuwaiti people. Minister Al-Awadhi recalled in a press release the bravery and sacrifices made by the Kuwaiti people to protect their homeland. He also stated that the people of Kuwait honor the martyrs’ sacrifices, whose enduring memory and unfading bravery left a legacy of wisdom, pride, and bravery in the fight for their nation.
