Civil ID crucial for Kuwait’s security

Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf Saud Al-Sabah emphasized today the critical role of the civil ID card in providing essential security information for government operations. He highlighted the government’s capability to enact legislation to regulate workplaces, remove obstacles, and advance national interests. The statement was issued by the General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior following Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf’s meeting at the Public Authority for Civil Information.

The meeting, attended by former Minister of Trade and Industry Abdullah Al-Joaan and representatives from various governmental bodies, focused on enhancing coordination and data sharing among relevant authorities. Sheikh Fahad stressed the importance of accurate and continuously updated data to improve security effectiveness and ensure public safety.

The discussion also underscored the pivotal role of the Public Authority for Civil Information in providing accurate data for national stability and promoting social cohesion. Sheikh Fahad emphasized the need for clear and precise documentation of residential property records and integrating data systems for enhanced operational efficiency between Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Civil Information.
