The Ministry of Interior clarified on Thursday that recent reports regarding the cessation of printing all types of driving permits specifically pertain to “driving permits,” not “driving licenses.” In a statement to KUNA, the General Department of Security Relations and Media explained that only certain categories of driving permits—such as taxi, on-demand taxi, driving instructor, public bus, mobile taxi, individual driving instructor, and van permits—will be transitioned from physical copies to digital versions accessible through the Ministry of Interior’s digital wallet application.

The Ministry urged the public to verify the accuracy of any information circulated and to rely on official sources for updates.
