Female passengers’ altercation onboard causes delay for Kuwait Airways

A Kuwait Airways flight returning from Bangkok was delayed due to a disruptive altercation among passengers. Kuwait Airways Company clarified that the delay was caused by an altercation among certain passengers. The incident led the pilot to follow security protocols by returning the aircraft to the airport, according to reports from Al-Jarida daily. The Public Prosecution detained female citizens involved in the altercation and pressed charges against them for inciting violence aboard the aircraft, with two individuals resisting authority.

One of the individuals involved was reportedly the plane’s security officer, whom they insulted while displaying abnormal behavior. Concerns for the safety and security of passengers and the aircraft prompted the decision to return to Bangkok International Airport. The Public Prosecution conducted interrogations and ordered further examination of two accused individuals by the General Department of Criminal Evidence.

Kuwait Airways stressed its commitment to taking decisive legal action against violators and emphasized the importance of all passengers adhering to company security procedures and international laws to ensure everyone’s safety onboard. The airline expressed gratitude to passengers for their understanding and cooperation during the incident.
