The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) reported that Kuwait International Airport handled 1,151,421 passengers in May. There were 532,841 arrivals and 618,580 departures. Flights increased by 2% to 9,959, and airfreight rose by 28% to 20.4 million kg. The top destinations were Dubai, Cairo, Istanbul, Doha, and Riyadh.
