Kuwait Sends 33rd Planeload of Humanitarian Goods to Gaza

Carrying ten tons of critical relief supplies for the Gaza Strip, the 33rd aircraft in the Kuwait Relief Air Bridge took off on Monday and was bound for the Egyptian city of Al-Arish.

Dr. Nabil A-Aoun, the chairman of Al-Salam Charity and a member of the Islamic Charitable Organization’s board of directors, told KUNA that the help is intended to lessen the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza and consists of items like blankets, tents, dates, and winter clothing.

Noting that a relief plane would take departure on Wednesday and another on Sunday, Al-Aoun continued, “Coordination has been made with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescents to supervise the entry of aid through the Rafah crossing.”

He added that Al-Salam Charity is providing hot meals and water to Gazanians every day in collaboration with organizations that have been authorized by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and that more than 250 tons of high-quality relief have been prepared and will be launched in the next few days.- by Kuna
