Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Handicapped Commemorates Incredible Triumph

The spectacular achievement of the Kuwaiti national team at the Sharjah International Forum and the 15th Fazza International Athletics Championships for the Disabled in the Emirates has filled Vice President Nasser Al-Ajmi of the Kuwaiti Sports Club for the Disabled with enormous joy. The squad won an astounding twenty-four medals in all, seven gold, ten silver, and seven bronze.

Al-Ajmi, who is leading the Kuwaiti delegation in these championships, praised the remarkable efforts of impaired athletes in a number of categories, emphasizing their skill and commitment. He underlined that these sportsmen’ accomplishments confirm their dominance in their respective sports.

Al-Ajmi further disclosed that two athletes, Faisal Sorour in shot put and Faisal Al Rajhi in wheelchair running (800 and 1500 meters), qualified for the World Athletics Championships for the Disabled in Japan as a result of their participation.

Shafi Al-Hajri and the council members led by Al-Ajmi reaffirmed the club’s dedication to keeping up its support for athletes participating in a variety of sports. The objective is to achieve additional triumphs in next global contests. This noteworthy achievement, which fell on national holidays, was dedicated to the people of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti impaired sports family, and His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
