Receptionists are essential to our stores, greeting and welcoming customers warmly as they arrive. They manage patient records and ensure the smooth scheduling of appointments. Acting as the backbone of our operations, they help maintain order and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Greet and welcome customers promptly and courteously.
- Maintain organized patient records.
- Ensure a smooth customer flow through the store.
- Answer, screen, and forward phone calls per National Vision protocol.
- Process managed care plans and obtain necessary insurance information.
- Provide customers with accurate basic information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and follow-up visits.
- File patient records daily and prepare files for upcoming appointments.
- Check order statuses and notify customers of arrivals or delays.
- Keep the reception area tidy and stocked with necessary materials.
- Handle daily mail, deliveries, and office supply inventory.
- Participate in mandatory communication meetings.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role preferred but not required.
- 0-2 years of related experience or training preferred.
- Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
