Around 10 Kuwaiti citizens have been victims of fraud daily over the last three years, reports Al-Qabas daily. Most cases involve real estate, followed by fake investments and fraudulent luxury car sales, with nearly 500 victims. Despite the high number of victims, new ones continue to be added due to the criminals’ professionalism and innovative schemes. Criminals exploit people’s desire for quick wealth, often paying fake investment returns for a year before the scam is revealed.
