Two people who were trying to smuggle about 150 kg of hashish into the nation were detained by the Criminal Security Sector through the General Department of Narcotics Control as part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat the illegal drug trade and protect society from its detrimental effects. A quarter of a million Kuwaiti dinars are thought to be the market worth of the drugs that were taken into custody. The suspects admitted to possessing the illegal goods with the intention of abusing and distributing them after being questioned. Both people were turned over to the proper authorities for additional legal action, along with the drugs that had been seized.
