Brigadier General Nawaf Al-Hayan, who heads the Traffic Awareness Department at the General Traffic Department, said that during Gulf Traffic Week, they removed 23,000 blocks on traffic violations and collected fines for about 2,000 violations. The week aimed at promoting traffic safety with the theme ‘Your Life is Trust’ and ended with various activities. Al-Hayan mentioned that they received feedback from people and spread traffic instructions at exhibitions held in malls. He stressed their commitment to educating the public, including visiting accident patients, giving lectures at Kuwait University, and organizing exhibitions attended by around 30,000 people. Al-Hayan thanked everyone for following traffic rules and helping reduce accidents.
