365 illegal ‘Poll 24’ advertisements removed

The Kuwait Municipality has initiated a campaign to remove unauthorized advertisements in Mubarak Al-Kabeer during the 2024 National Assembly elections, as reported by Al-Rai daily. Municipal branches across the governorates are conducting field trips as part of this initiative. During these inspections, a total of 365 unauthorized advertisements were identified and taken down. Among them, 46 were election advertisements lacking proper licenses for the 2024 National Assembly elections. Additionally, 319 advertisements of various sizes were removed for non-compliance with regulations. The municipality emphasizes that these field trips will continue throughout the election period, with inspectors from the departments of audit and follow-up of municipal services actively participating. In Mubarak Al-Kabeer Municipality Governorate, inspectors conducted thorough inspections to enforce legal provisions, removing unauthorized advertisements placed outside electoral headquarters or in residential areas. Additionally, random advertisements from streets and squares, as well as those not licensed by the municipality, were targeted for removal.
