The Ministry of Interior received 500 vehicle ownership transfer requests within the first nine hours of launching the service on the ‘Sahel’ app.

Currently, the service is available for transferring ownership of private cars and motorcycles, but it does not yet include company vehicles. The Ministry introduced this service on Sunday, allowing buyers and sellers to complete the transfer through the app without needing to visit the traffic department. Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, Director of the Technical Office Department in the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector at the Ministry of Interior, stated that this initiative helps alleviate the burden on visitors to the Ministry offices.
